Demetria Jordan is a Keynote Speaker, Author, Transition Coach, and Group Facilitator. She is known for her unique ability to help women transform their lives and businesses by identifying the one shift they need for their next level of greatness. 

 

Mrs. Jordan has been a group facilitator and coach for almost two decades. She has helped nearly one hundred entrepreneurs launch, develop, and sustain successful businesses while balancing their personal lives. Her journey, like so many others, has been one of unexpected twists and profound lessons. She has proudly been an entrepreneur for over 20 years, a testament to years of hard work and dedication. However, life threw her a curveball when she was diagnosed with cancer, and she found herself facing one of the most challenging battles of her life. The decision to close her beloved businesses was heart-wrenching, but it was necessary to prioritize her health.

Cancer tested her strength in ways she could never have imagined. Enduring a bone marrow transplant was one of the most arduous experiences, but it also became a turning point. After navigating her transformative health journey, Demetria discovered a deeper truth: real transformation starts from the inside out.

She rose from the ashes with her vision and a dream to reinvent herself. That dream materialized in the form of two platforms, Favor Surrounds Me, a brand that embodies the grace, strength, and beauty that she discovered within herself and Polished for Greatness™ which encourages women to tap into their divine potential. Polished for Greatness™ stands at the intersection of faith, transformation, and refinement.

 

Her knowledge and experience in the business sector have afforded her the opportunity to speak on many platforms, facilitate workshops, and lead training. She has created a plethora of educational curricula, workshop content, and training materials.

Her signature talk, "Shift into Greatness," equips audiences with strategies for aligning their faith, mindset, and purpose so they can step boldly into who they’re designed to be — because every path leads to greatness.

 

She is the author of "Faith is Calling: Will You Answer?" which takes readers on a journey of answering the call for their next level of greatness.

Through her signature coaching program, the S.H.I.F.T.™ Method, Demetria helps women refine who they are while walking boldly into their God-given greatness.
Through coaching, community, and content, she helps women redefine what it means to live empowered from the inside and out. Her vision is to create a global network of women living in personal freedom and elevating to their next level of greatness. Her motto is, "Live a life that will outlive you."

 

She formerly owned and operated Design Nail Salon for nearly 16 years. During her career in the beauty industry, she trained and mentored many aspiring nail techs and beauty professionals. In addition, she was a certified OPI Educator for five years. She mostly recently owned and operated DNS Creative Spaces for three years before closing in 2023. Previously, she served as a facilitator for the Entrepreneurship Academy at LAUNCH CHA. Demetria had the pleasure of being a panelist for the annual WE (Women Entrepreneurs) symposium and was recognized by TN Congressman Chuck Fleischman for her participation. She also was a panelist for Chattanooga's Business Ecosystem Day. In addition, she has been the keynote speaker at many events, where she had the opportunity to speak about her journey as a business owner. Most recently, she received local recognition, winning the Black Excellence of Chattanooga (BEC) award for Best Nail Tech for 2020 and 2021, earning her a spot in the BEC Hall of Fame in 2022. DNS received a nomination for the BEC Award in the category of Best Brick and Mortar Business for 2022.

Demetria holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and is currently a MSW student at the University of Kentucky.
